A North Carolina native, I live at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia,
with my husband Ron, and our dogs Angus and Yellow Dawg.
Ron and I have three married children who have blessed us with
12 grandchildren. I enjoy visits with family and friends,
kayaking, playing bridge, photography, dancing with Ron,
horseback riding, blogging, antiquing, cross-stitching, and
dreaming up plots for future books. A former contributing writer
for Prime Living Magazine, I'm a member of the Lake Writers,
and The Virginia Writers Club. Secrets at Spawning Run, my
first novel, is a mystery set at Smith Mountain Lake. My
second novel, Secrets at Sweetwater Cove, is a sequel, but
also a stand-alone novel. For those of you who have asked, I
am working on the third book in the "Secrets" series.

Like my first novel, Secrets at Spawning Run, my second, Secrets at Sweetwater
Cove, takes place at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. If you've ever visited Smith
Mountain Lake, you will recognize some of the places mentioned in both books. Also,
many of the same characters you liked so much in Secrets at Spawning Run return.

In Secrets at Sweetwater Cove, you will worry again with Aurora Harris, her husband
Sam, and King, their lovable black Labrador Retriever. Some other familiar folks will be
Aurora's friends Carole and Jill. New characters will have you gnawing your nails as you
worry about dead bodies and wonder whodunit!
